I have found that writing out what I am anxious about helps to get to the root of the issue. I also start to see patterns in my behaviors. For example, if I am always anxious when I go out to a bar, what is going on for me when I have that reaction? It not only feels good at the time to get it all out, but you can use your anxiety journal to review your progress to see how far you have come.
